The apostle Paul was a tireless preacher of the doctrine of the Kingdom of Heaven, the dominion or empire of God's perfections. And a decisive moment in his missionary work was when he had to testify about his faith before King Agrippa. According to the Book of Acts of the Apostles, Paul had completed his third missionary journey and had arrived in Jerusalem, but due to a great tumult that had occurred in the temple, Paul was arrested.
During his arrest, Paul had to appear before the governor of the region, Felix, and it was there that he asked as a Roman citizen to be tried by the emperor. While Paul was detained in Caesarea, King Agrippa who had arrived in the city had decided out of curiosity to listen to Paul's cause. And it was before Agrippa that the apostle Paul showed his great eloquence.
The teachings of Jesus about the forgiveness of sins and salvation was a doctrine rejected by many, but Paul knew how to give his testimony, Paul told Agrippa how his conversion was through a heavenly vision about Jesus, and being a practicing jew from that moment he became a fervent Christian.
With these words, Paul justified his missionary activity before Agrippa:
"So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven. First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds. That is why some Jews seized me in the temple courts and tried to kill me" Acts 26:19-21.
After his testimony, Paul was sent to Rome, where the Book of Acts tells us that there he ended his missionary activity, teaching and converting many to Jesus.
