Spiritual teachings of the bible: "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand". Matthew 3:2

In the Gospel of Matthew, John the Baptist announces the arrival of the Kingdom of God in the person of Jesus:
"´Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.´ For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah when he said,
´The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
Prepare the way of the Lord;
make his paths straight.´", Matthew 3:2-3.

The Kingdom of God is in the old testament a promise announced by the prophets: "In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever.", Daniel 2:44.
Jesus is the "son of man" and comes to fulfill the prophecies of the Kingdom of God. When Jesus refers to himself as "son of man", although it is an Old Testament expression used to mention the prophets Ezekiel and Daniel, what Jesus is telling us is that he personifies the perfections of God: "Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.", Matthew 5:48; "Be merciful just as your Father is merciful", Luke 6:36; "Be holy because I am holy", 1 Peter 1:16.
The Kingdom of God has a double meaning, one ethical and the other theological. In the ethical interpretation of the Kingdom of God, man is "son of God", man seeks God's perfections, man seeks mercy, perseverance, the wisdom from on high. Living the gifts inherited from God is living ethically because all gifts are good by definition (the spiritual gifts are perfections and therefore good).
And in the theological interpretation God becomes "son of man", that is, mercy, piety, eternal life are personified in Jesus. There are seven statements about the "I am" in the Gospel of John, and an additional one in the book of Revelations: "I am the Alpha and the Omega", Revelations 1:8, Jesus is this affirmation personifies the beginning and the end of the time, the eternity of God, Jesus is uncreated and coexistent with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
