Both candidates suck and are super MAGA. This was a pretty dirty fight between the worst people.
It is rare these days to see an incumbent lose a primary, but getting Trump mad at you is probably one of the best ways to do that. In this case it was especially odd as he wasn't a Never Trumper like Liz Cheney.
