It is going to be a real problem.

Going to have to keep an eye on how the Republican primaries go next year and if this becomes a more central issue in campaigns.

Right now I don't think Ukraine aid is at risk, but it is an open question in 2025 and beyond depending on how the primaries and elections go.

Hopefully by then Ukraine has more explicit security agreements in place and the war is in a much different place.
