Liquid Biopsies for Assessing the Functionality of Transplanted Stem Cells

Scientists from the University of Maryland, University of Pennsylvania, and Emory University discovered that a blood test, called a liquid biopsy, might help to assess the efficacy of transplanted stem cells. Researchers conducted a study in which they analyzed exosomes (tiny cellular components) that were secreted from transplanted stem cells.
