Japan's robot maker Softbank has introduced a new service in the form of a mechanic playing a funeral priest.
The company prepared the text software, which was echoed by the robot during an exhibition on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 in Tokyo, with an electronic voice.
The fungus robot can play the role of priest when it is not available, and the cost of the robot is 50,000 yen (about 450 dollars) at the funeral for more than 240,000 yen ($ 2200) for the priest, Micheo Inamura, the company's chief executive, said.
