The ocean is one of the Earth's most valuable natural resources. It provide food in the form of fish about 300 billion pounds are caught each year. It's mined for minerals and drilled for crude oil. Besides salt, sand, gravel and some manganese, copper, nickel, iron and cobalt can be found in the deep sea.

So sea is a very valuable resources for every country.
