@ausbitbank is the first person I had an interesting interaction with when I started on Steemit. In a way, I consider him as the kind person who welcomed me here. I think he takes the Steemit community to heart.

To show my gratefulness, I'll gladly take the payout. ;-)

If I could un-Resteem your post I would but I learned this can't be done.

Now reminding you about the payout, I look like someone who enjoyed @ausbitbank's post only for a reward I'm not even getting.

I thought I could show my appreciation for @ausbitbank and support you at the same time now that you are asking people's permissions to use their material.

I should have follow my first instinct about a Steem faucet.

Thanks for the kind words mate, much appreciated :)

I can vouch for @steemitfaucet paying out, but I have a feeling its manual so I wouldn't stress too much about a delay for now..

And yes UnResteem is soo badly needed .. I spotted dan doing an accidental resteem the other day so hopefully it moves up in priority now he's seen how annoying it is :P

I read one of @papa-pepper's post where he thanked the person who brought him on the site and this other person who encouraged him to stay on the platform, and it made me realize how people who welcome newcomers are important to Steemit and should be appraise for what they do. Not knowing when I would have the occasion to salute your welcoming manners, I thought of @steemitfaucet's post as the perfect outlet to do so. But the fact remains that I'm not a big fan of being rewarded in exchange of an effortless or meaningless task, so I wouldn't normally have been naturally inclined to drink at the faucet's mouth. I'm not mad at @steemitfaucet, I just regret doing something I wouldn't have done a week ago.

You might find it strange that I would go out of my way for thanking you, but the fact is I feel like it's easy to lose people in Steemit's jungle and it was a way to say: I haven't forgotten you. Another thing my sometimes purist self wouldn't have done a month ago is letting a bot vote for me. To me it was inconceivable to vote for an article without reading it first, but I've change my opinion about it. Not only does @steemvoter guarantees a supply of good curation rewards but it also serves as a bookmarking tool by linking to the articles written by posters I enjoy reading the most. :-)

Done.
