In addition to their regular monthly issues, RUN came out with annual special issues during the Commodore 64s most successful years. These typically contained a combination of best of features, new material and indexes of material from the last year's worth of magazines. The 3rd special issue, released in 1987, includes the following:
Features
- RUNning Ruminations - Welcome to our third annual special issue.
- Commodore Clinic - Answers to the most often asked questions on hardware, software and programming, compiled from three years of RUN's monthly column - plus some questions and answers never before published. Over 200 entries.
- Magic - An invaluable collection of 255 hints and tips that will help you get the most out of your computing experience. A complete index of the Magic tricks, arranged according to 26 categories, begins on page 134.
- Super Magic - Some special Magic tricks, straight from the experts.
- Mind Your Mortgage - You may be surprised at how much your mortgage is costing you when you analyze it with this program for the C-128.
- The Light Choice - Highlighted menu options will make your 128-mode programs easier to use and more attractive to view.
- Add Calc 128 - It may not fit in your pocket, but your C-128 can still be a mighty handy printing calculator. You'll also find this program helpful for learning about Basic 7.0.
- Lots of labels - If you need lots of labels, but all with the same address, this C-64 program is for you.
- Envelope Maker - Let this C-64 program create envelopes in the size you need, complete with neatly printed address.
- Master Menus - An eye-catching main menu display will start your C-64 programs off with a flourish.
- RUN's 1986 Index - A complete index of all the articles and reviews we published last year.
