What a rant! MJR has the personality, network, and brand that garners attention. Even if he's not an encyclopedia of retro knowledge, he does produce consistent, high quality, entertaining content. At the end of the day it's about branding and image IMO... Nickelback is a multi platinum band after all- and certainly not for the quality of their music.
