This is the third time I'll be mentioning this television series this month, I know. I'm just too obsessed with it. Now that I'm done watching it, I couldn't wait to give a review. It's one of the best Spanish television series like I always say. I was expecting them to fuck this up, but they didn't. Another great heist happened or let me say, is happening.
The trailer didn't say much about the heist. You would think it was centered on rescuing Rio until you watch it. I thought they got it wrong there, but I had the wrong idea. The mission was to rescue Rio, that's right. But an heist was used a diversion. It was all part of the plan. Once again, professor demonstrated his planning skills on an impossible task. The bank of Spain was robbed. Well, the mission isn't complete, so "robbed" wouldn't work yet. A robbery is going on currently in the bank of Spain. Another season will determine if it will be successful or not. Robbery won't be the only thing to expect, we are expecting a war. Yes, the thieves finally attacked back. They killed some policemen with a missile. The professor got mad when he found out Raquel was killed. She wasn't killed, though. Alicia, the police in charge of the case made him believe so. Perhaps, she thinks a war would make them triumph, we will find out in the next season.
This season would have been perfect if the professor was caught. People don't want that, I know. I don't want him to be caught, too, but the season finale proved he should be. The police surrounded the area he was. He hid in a place he can't be seen, but after finding out Raquel was about to be killed, he left his spot and tried to save her. My big question is, where were the police when he was running to where Raquel was? I know some will argue that they were somewhere else or all of them were with Raquel, but that isn't true. Only a few of them went to where Raquel was and they scattered themselves around the area. Not even one police saw the professor running. Seriously?
I like the fact that the police now have a smart officer with them, one who doesn't care about the rules. Unlike Raquel, Alicia was doing everything possible to ruin the professor's plan. We don't know if sure if Nairobi is dead; she instructed a sniper to shoot her and she is behind Raquel's abduction. Now the professor thinks her girlfriend is dead. He won't know if and when she will be tortured. He will be too lost in the war and might make mistakes. He'd tried everything possible to avoid bloodshed. Now that he wants it, does he stand a chance?
There are many things to expect in the next season and I don't think it will be the final season. I had thought the first two seasons was enough, now I want it to be more than four. If Nairobi dies, the whole team will be mad and several things we don't expect might happen. How do you see the season 3 of money heist? Let's discuss in the comment section below.
