I believe almost all human beings will admit that love is the most important aspect of his life. See, in addition to the real world, the love story of the opposite sex dominates the theme of drama on the screen every day. However, in everyday life, have we ever thought about what and how love can be realized in many ways, not merely related to the story of two lovebirds?
In fact, if love is likened to the art of culture, it is also an effort to develop the personality and insight of thought. It will also have an effect on expanding responsiveness, perception, and reasoning about the facts of art and culture in everyday life. Accidentally or not, the perception I encountered when Prologue re-opened the Public Open, whose first edition had begun in June.
The second edition of Public Open is again held at rooftop Prolog Art Building, Jalan Taman Tomb of Pahlawan, Ruko no. 1G, Makassar on Sunday, August 2, 2018, starting at 4:00 pm to finish. This edition still features musical performances by two indie bands Makassar, One Little Project and Minorbebas and a long screening titled The Song of Sparrows by Majid Majidi's director at seven o'clock.
I have predicted going to be late to this event because I have to take the TOEFL course until five o'clock in the evening. I have previously contacted Ifan to be on time to record the atmosphere through his camera lens since the event started. As a result, when I arrived at the Prolog Art Building when the needle on the watch showed at 17.30, I immediately rushed to the rooftop and found Minorbebas performing performing "Fault", one of their songs. The feel of the song immediately reminds me of Dinosaur Jr songs. and Husker Du, made my head immediately nod to follow the strains of the guitar and the beat of his drum.
The Minorbebas, led by Radhit (vocals / guitar), Febrizal (guitar), Suwandi (bass) and Rendy (drums) are indeed bands who agreed to put the 'red thread' 90's alternative rock as a musical stream. Radhit who is a permanent member of Minorbebas from the beginning is my friend who both loves 90's alternative rock, although I only know his penchant is acute since early 2018.
Minorbebas at the Public Open to the second edition. 90's kids on the block!
Not long after the "Fault" was played, Radhit also spoke to the audience about the next song that will be delivered. The next song, entitled "Jalan Saja" has a story that is a person's personal experience in his daily love life that is lived simply and simply. As if this song is a reflection of Radhit's personal story, I instead spread the smile when Radhit ends with his trademark style that always ends with the word "alone", such as free freely, just the way, like that.
"Jalan Saja" was sweet with lyrics as Radhit told on rooftop before dusk, although the articulation of Radhit's vocals did not sound very well. Liukan guitar syahdu but still with a powerful overdrive distortion, membua breath Weezer songs I feel penetrate into "Jalan Saja" which was delivered for the first time this.
"Astigmatism" became Minorbebas's last song in the Open for the Public that afternoon. The song that tells of eye disease where the sufferer sees the light will always glow and look to have a tail at the end of the light. The eye disease that is being experienced by Radhit inspires him to make a song about this. With a thick 90's rock feel, "Astimatigma" instantly reminds me of Foo Fighters's "All My Life" song in its bridge section. No doubt, Minorbebas
