On-Phone Security
This something I have wanted for so long. Other apps like Blockfolio have it. Why wouldn’t BitUniverse have it? I do not want someone to hang around my phone and know what my interests of crypto are. Even if crypto works like public hyper ledgers, let anyone sweat themselves out finding of what I have from elsewhere. But not my phone.
A pattern or PIN to access the app will be ideal to safeguard your insecurities.
Desktop Application
Still on security. Security of your assets is paramount. Security of assets is high when applications are offline. A desktop application will contribute to your backing up of your assets offline. Yeah, you can back up your assets.
Seemingly, they have delayed, or they speculate to create the application it in the future. This is detaching for you the user.
Multiple Portfolio
I would love to create as many portfolios as my aims can be. I cannot manage this with BitUniverse at this point. They do not support a multiple portfolio feature.
Assuming you want two portfolios, one for your short-term and the other for long-term you cannot achieve that with this app. You are forced to isolate them on your own. Then what is the need for the app if it cannot provide you the freedom to do more?
Conclusion
Hopefully, in their user response, the developers will someday address our inefficiencies with this app. As it stands BitUniverse is the Swiss army knife for your crypto management.
