Greetings, dear readers!
The premiere of the series "On the Sunny side of the street", created by Russian filmmakers in the genre of drama and melodrama, took place on February 28, 2011. It can also be found on the Internet on sites that provide online movie viewing services.
As it so happened, found out about this show not long ago, three days ago. Since I was advised to watch it by a friend who knows a lot about good movies, I did not hesitate to search the Internet for this series.
From the very first minutes, he was so interested and intrigued that I could not tear myself away from watching him, and, abandoning all my business, I sat down in front of the screen.
The story told to us by the film's Directors turned out to be so realistic and vital that my memories from my early childhood suddenly surfaced from the depths of my memory. I remembered my mother and I going to the city Park, so similar to the one shown in the series - the same carefree atmosphere of peace and joy, benches where there are no empty seats, people walking along the alleys, frolicking children and a woman selling sparkling water...
But this was later, after the war, in which one of the main characters, a little girl named Katya, almost died of starvation during the siege of Leningrad.
She was lucky, together with her older brother, they were evacuated to Sunny Tashkent. However, soon her brother died, and she, once in an orphanage, struggles for her survival, gradually turning from a sweet, kind girl into a person who knows exactly what he wants in life, and will achieve this by any means.
Only here is, that such love she not knows, Yes and not wants and know about it, nor those more love whom would the nor became, even native daughter, which on its words of spoiled it entire life. Sometimes, however, it seems to me that she simply does not know how or is afraid to love someone-either because no one could teach her this in the orphanage, or her first unhappy love is to blame, but this is so - she then pushes the child away from her, passionately dreaming that she disappeared from her life, then looks for her, afraid not to see her again. She's tough by nature, all she needs is to earn more money, and how she does it, by fraud, or by distributing drugs-she doesn't care...
Whether case it's her daughter Verka-Verochka, open to all heart and soul, and as some said about her - talented, but not from this world, she really, when she grew up, became a famous artist.
The action of the film covers a fairly long period of time, from the siege of Leningrad to the present day. It is quite touching, it has many scenes showing how during the war and after it, people of different nationalities were close by and helped each other with everything they could, without demanding anything in return. The only thing that somewhat spoils the picture is some politicization of it in terms of dissidence, opposition to the Soviet government, but everyone is free to think one way or another.
And in General, the series is very good, I watched all fourteen episodes of it in one day, getting a lot of positive emotions, remembering the past and ponostalgirovav about it, and even crying at the end of the film.
Most of all, I was struck by the scenes shot in a field sown with narcotic grass through which a half-naked rider rushes on a horse, taken by little Vera for a fabulous Cenotaur and served as a prototype of the picture that made her famous as an artist, as well as the scene of love in the mountains during a thunderstorm - very impressive.
It evoked nostalgia and music, songs and romances that sounded in the series - "In the city garden"...", with which each series began, as well as songs about Misha, about lilies of the valley, and much more.
The performance of actors-Sergei Makovetsky, Alexander Domogarov, Anna Snatkina, Ivan Stebunov, Yulia Mavrina, etc., almost all, was above all praise.
In General, I advise everyone to watch this series, especially, it will be dear to those whose childhood and youth fell on the 50-60-70 years of the last century.
Pleasant to you of viewing!
Thank you for your attention, see you soon!
With respect to you, @mrfantastis.
