The popularity and success of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds makes the developer team plan the crossplatform feature they soon present in the game. As reported by the interview conducted vg247, the team of developers said that there would be no problem to combine PC player with console into one server.

Cross network between PC and console is something that we want to realize, and we do not think we will get into trouble for it. But if viewed from the competitive side, then I think there will be a problem between the controller and keyboard / mouse. This is what makes us discourage to immediately make it happen. If we allow the player to use the controller, then we must provide the assist assist or something more or less has the same function as that. We will not immediately implement it, but this is something we need to consider again in the future. - Chang Han Kim, Executive Producer.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is the best-selling survival game that can sell as many as 4 million copies in just 3 months on PC. This game will be present on Xbox One and Xbox One X on November 17, while for its PlayStation 4 version is likely to be present in 2018.
