Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition

Lenovo Z6 Youth Edition

It was not intended for the first half of the year but unlike the previous one, the review was focused mainly on flagship!

So, in some communities, some people have asked me if I have a plan to review the Z6 Youth Edition released by Lenovo!

I found a friend holding a drink at the bar, I asked him to borrow it for a while, so I checked a little bit!

Snapdragon 710 with 4000mAh high capacity battery, and IPS LCD! However, the shipment of the second half of the 100,000 won!

I think these four are the biggest attraction points that attract attention to this smartphone! The Lenovo Z6 youth version I was looking at was like this!

● Lenovo Z6 Youth, a typical Chinese mid-sized / distributor!

Lenovo Z6 youth edition, is not just a duller, it is a Chinese mid / low-end smartphone configuration.

The box with the product name printed on it has a Z6 youth board, a TPU case, a charger and a charging cable.

The front is equipped with 6.3 inch FHD + IPS LCD with a water drop notch on the top! At the top of the LCD, there is a talking speaker with a notification LED hidden.

The back battery cover is made of plastic because the price is price! A triple camera and a fingerprint sensor are located on the upper left.

At the bottom, there is a 3.5mm earphone jack that many people would like to meet! Luckily (?) Charging port adopts USB-C!

The battery cover is plastic, but the coating is well done, so I do not have that cheap tea! A slightly lighter weight than other smartphones with similar battery capacities will be the biggest advantage in the looks.

● Snapdragon 710 for 18 million won? Ohora !!

The rear battery cover is made of plastic material. Unfortunately, the price of the hardware starting from 180,000 won is not easy to believe.

The AP was released last year, but thanks to the enhanced GPU compared to the 600 series, the Snapdragon 710 has been rated as an all-weather AP.

The memory with L4DDR4X RAM and eMMC 5.1 seems to be a specification of a general midterm, but I think that it is attracted to many people that IPS LCD which has not been seen recently is installed.

And the 4050mAh high capacity battery is expected to show the long and long usage time by combining with the SNAP DRAGON 710 malfunction ratio!

Of course, it can be expected that the performance of the camera using OV sensor will be lower than that of other competitive smartphones, but the sales price of about 187,000 won based on the 4 / 64GB model can be enough to offset this shortcoming!

I could not find any other manufacturer's homepage, but the test result shows that WiFi is equipped with 2x2 MIMO! 5GHz file transfer rates have the same results as flags!

When I went through the AnTuTu test, I found that the performance was better than the Xeomi MiSE 8SE, which has a similar specification besides the battery and the camera.

There is not much difference between CPU and GPU performance, but even though the Z6 youth version I tested was a 4G RAM model, it showed a bit better performance in memory and UX than the 8SE in 6G RAM!

Anth Tutu test does not seem to have big performance difference within 30,000 total points, and there is a concern that it might be a problem of hardware performance if the price is cheap.

The Geek bench test also shows that the Z6 youth edition scores slightly higher than the US 8SE, but it is reasonable to say that the range is the same as the error range!

I do not see any kind of throttling especially for midrange APs! The power consumption of the 4000mAh battery seems to feel right!

Not only does it maintain bench performance, but game play and Snapdragon 710's built-in performance are well utilized.

Snapdragon 710/712 is set to frame priority in mobile battleground, the picture quality setting is smooth and the frame setting balance is the maximum!

There is a feeling of being cut off somewhat, but the average frame is more than 40 frames, which is not enough for 60 frames of the flagship, but it is not much inconvenience to play the game.

● The battery is Good! But charging ...................

The 4050mAh battery also seems to perform well enough!

Because it is an LCD model, it will be possible to use it only by the video playback test. It is possible to use about 8 hours and 20 minutes based on 100% brightness of the screen!

If you feel that you are running out of time, you may be using an AMOLED display device!

This performance is more than 10% better than the battery performance of the Hyundai Notebook 7 with Snapdragon 660 and 4000mAh battery! The Snapdragon 710 has a good chance of getting rid of it because of its processability.

But what I do not understand is the charge!

It is expected that compression will not be as great as the larger battery capacity, but it is stated in the specification that it only supports charging up to 15W!

However, the maximum 15W is only a pun. When the charger is discharged for the first time, it shows a charge close to 15W, and then it can be confirmed that it is charging only about 9 ~ 10W.

It does not seem to support fast charging!

It takes about 2 hours and 25 minutes from the discharged state to the buffering time. It takes about the same time as when charging with the 5V 2A charger.

Bundled charger Other than the third-party QC3.0 or PD charger, the voltage / current values are different, but the charging result is the same! It may be a little uncomfortable for those who use a lot!

● Hardware compliance! Hardware only !! From ZUI!

Snap Dragon 710 to 4050mAh battery! The charging speed is slow, but there is no big problem with hardware performance! Perhaps you are interested in this Z6 youth edition because of the hardware specs and performance.

I think it's a bit of a hassle with only the hardware specs!

But I started using the power and I do not feel Snapdragon 710 at all!

ZUI bundled with Lenovo smartphones! Everything seems to be a tempo slower than other smartphones of similar specifications.

ZUI genuine performance of the Snapdragon 625 is about to doubt it! There are quite a few cases where the sensitivity of the touch is low or the touch or slide does not react immediately.

I feel like this is partly due to Dr. Han's slow haptic feedback and app conversion animation!

Here are some tips for optimizing your battery. No matter what you set up, all apps are removed in the background after a certain amount of time! The apps that are still running in the background just before the run, but the apps that have already flown are running again, so the overall performance is going down too!

Does this optimize in China? I do not think it's okay to see the share in China! ㅡ. ㅡ ㅋ

● Display a strange feeling!

With the firmware, it's the display that made me feel strange again!

Just look at it and it's great! The LCD quality was pretty good even when playing games or playing games!

However, when I play a movie using a local file, this feeling is a little different! No matter how you compare the same video with other IPS-equipped devices, it's a bit subtle and less clear!

I can not even express pictures or anything like that! The video is going to continue to flow on the screen, but if you see a little bit of movement, this is the feeling!

HDR10 Ultra HD Vision has been applied to the display for vivid video playback!

This feature only supports a specific app (Tencent Video, iQIYI), so I guess that it will affect playback in MX Player.

● Spurious rain? Just for the price, about auto games ??

Hardware on a smart phone is important!

But I think that software has more weight than hardware!

As you can see from the above, if the hardware does not comply with the software, the smartphone can not be used properly! It is even more difficult to give a good feeling to users !!

Does not it fit in a custom ROM?

If you do not include intangible values such as the user's efforts to implement the custom ROM and the user's performance for execution, there may be a caustic rain.

Bootloader unlock, custom recovery, custom ROM and more!

It may be nothing for familiar users, but it is no different from the foreign language for general users who can not properly initialize their smartphone and can not follow the guidelines even if they do not understand the guide terms.

I think the Xiao Mi smart phone, which I praise for its caustic ratio, is quite big in terms of knowing how to set it up!

Even now, installing MIUI porting ROM will improve usability a lot.

The differentiation of Android smartphones by each maker is done by this software. Is the Lenovo Z6 youth version with MIUI installed a Lenovo smartphone? Or is it a Xiao Mi smartphone?

If it was released at this price last year, I might have been talking about it as a non-smart phone,
