Rich Dad Poor Dad- Robert Kiyosaki الأب الغني والأب الفقير

Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki… a financial book from 1997 that still works today!

What does it really mean to be rich, how to be financially free, and how to make money WORK for you.

Robert Kiyosaki… the man of real financial education as we should know it…

Have you ever thought why does your education system not prepare you for the real world? have you thought why we graduate with no real understanding of what is really happening in the financial system around us? let me tell you, cause they need you to be ignorant!

Robert was blessed by two dads, a rich and a poor one… he became aware of the two worlds and had the privilege of understating how both worlds work…. His biological dad was the poor , PhD educated, with no real understanding of how the real world functions. His non-biological rich dad taught him how to live in the real world, the world of real abundance.

Robert’s rich dad taught him how abundance is literally for everyone. He taught him how poor people can become rich, and why the rich grow richer.

Please note I am not giving any financial advice here… read the book and get your own outcome that best works for you… this is not a rich scam type of book , it is a mindset change that gets you to re-evaluate your financial life.
This book helps you to elevate your finical IQ, understand what money really is, and how to get it flowing for you by simply changing few of your lifestyle habits when it comes to spending money.

Wealth… as per Roberts definition, it is simply, how many days would you survive if you stopped working today.. how much money you have, or getting into your bank account that will allow you to stop working and simply live… so if you want to have financial freedom you have to have assets that pay you in interests or dividends that will allow you to stay jobless and helps you to survive.

In this book, Robert focuses on few things:

Accounting; how to read financial statements, and know when a company is making profits or simply going down the hill.

Economy; the science of supply and demand.

Cash flow quadrant: Employees, self employed, business owner, and investor! We will talk more about those in the coming videos.

Assets vs. Liabilities: buying a house on mortgage to live in is a LIABILITY, but buying a house on mortgage to rent out is an asset!… i am sure you’re confused now…. most of us think that buying our own house even on mortgage is actually an asset, but surprisingly is not!

Most of us do not understand a liability when we acquire it… it simply is, the thing that you buy and gets you more bills… mortgage bills, taxes and running expenses… so the house you live in is actually a liability not an asset!

Always pay yourself first… have a defined percentage of your income that you invest, rather than spend… so if you make 1000 $, have a 10-25% set aside for investing then spend the rest… pay yourself first then pay your bills.

Your social circle actually accounts, big time!

Retune OF investment vs. return ON investment.

Thanks for another nice book!

I like books about finances and wealth, too. This is the second time I see this book in someones review.

Looks like the idea is similar to another book - The Millionaire Next Door: The Surprising Secrets of America's Wealthy.

thanks for reading... i will check the book you recommended too :)
