If a lot of people want something, such as 1000 people want 1 item how do we decide who to give it to?

The world in which we live in does not have a problem to this solution because it runs based on demand and supply rule. Most of the time this is artificial supply and demand thus give benefit to the ones who control the world. I don't thing the population of the world has reached a level where we have to face the scarcity of the resources at all. After all we're living in the IT world where we can manufacture anything in abundance in no time.

So what's my solution?

There is primarily something wrong with a system that runs based on supply/demand rule where they create a demand and then sell it at very high price for huge profit. For example, in olden times, pigeons were used to deliver messages to people living far off places. Fast forward...today we use a finger tip and the message is delivered to the recipient in no time. Same goes for phone call. So, the primary function is to communicate with the people. All we need is a device named anything. But what really happens is, people go for brands because it make them look better as per societal set standards. Who created these standards and how? This is how our society works. So, there is primarily something wring with all this. I use any smartphone and trust me, I was never jailed for this but problem is I am not the majority.

Actually, society faces a scarcity of resources all the time, precisely because of that there is not for everyone. However, the current abundance is due to that same system of supply and demand. For only when a division of labor is generated, can it be produced en masse, when producing mass, supply is greater than demand, then prices fall and products become accessible. The problem of poverty or lack of resources on the part of a minority of the population is due to the fact that sufficient wealth has not been created, that is, there is a margin of scarcity.

Indeed a very deep thought blog it is. Your points are 100% valid and in our life this is so common.
Poor: Hurts in every field of life either it is matter of pricing or Strength.
So education is the only solution in this regard. Where no poor and no rich. Black Friday type events should not be launched in this way, because at the end of the day we must hear some bad news around the word.(physically hurts the weak).

Online shopping is best way.
Black Friday items should be announce and intimate the people well before the time, And then on the day only the people who were informed should go there. That could be a good suggestion.

Your post describes what ugly human behavior you will see when something is desperately needed but is very scarce.

When it is food, water, space or shelter we should realize that these things are in fact not scarce, they're just unevenly distributed. There is enough wealth and resources on this planet for everyone, we should learn how to share it better.

Steem is an example of the giving economy. By showing the world what we can do with this platform, when we spread financial resources to people in places where a USD means a 100 times more then in the western world, you will see a change coming.

Under the system of supply and demand, and of the free market, it is the only system that can generate sufficient wealth so that the scarcity approach that you propose does not arise, otherwise, it is the only one that has proven to solve the problem. problem in a peaceful way. It has its faults, yes, but it is much better than any other model shown so far. When we find a better one, then we must be open to discuss it and start it, but for now I have not seen it.

It's true the strongest won out when money wasn't involved. I used to lov doing black friday shopping. Not really to buy anything, but to see all the nutjobs fighting over a $!5 toaster. Random would never work, because there is always somebody trying to game the system. It should all come down to paper rock scissors. lol Good questions.

As far as buying things even from a common man's point of view nothing is less you will always want the excess of thing whether someone is poor or not if the things are shiny or not and even the poor will pay the price to buy it.

As we know all that all glittering things are not gold such as food and basic amenities which are a must to live should have a minimum requirement per person so that even after the supply and demand game goes on the poor don't die due to that and coming back to the 1000 people want 1 item

Well ,the list of ideas will continue to pop us as you already mentioned some of them and many more will be added its only upto us how badly we want it to have it.

and from sellers point of view it will always be first come first served Basis.

But definitely something to look forward to other people about the creative ideas for sure as ideas come from around us

The stores sell things at really low prices - the idea is that people want a deal so badly they will come to the store for that item.

As a result people line up outside the doors and race to the items that are on sale. Sometimes there a fights or even people getting crushed.

It is a first come first serve ideal in action.

I think the solution is very simple we do have to matain a government body in which no one is getting any salary no one have any money, just all have to do work assigned by a regulatory body and all that what so ever you get for no cost. Every one what so ever they want Should provide by government. All the shops government and system regulated by government body. Let's just imagine such a great system . Where all are equal.

sir what is black friday? you have talked about a very sensitive thing that others don't pay much attention..it is a very crucial problem in the society that we fail to address properly..actually after reading this i was thinking about the best solution to this..as you have given the negative outcomes of each possible solution still i couldn't think of the best solution..very impressive sir..thanks for bringing this kind of discussions in to this platform :)
