-The Saga of Sun and Sea
I set up a rig to take these photos, using a macro lens and studio lights.
I attached a dropper to a Lego tower i built so i could get the water droplets to fall in roughly the same position each time.
Using a fast shutter speed i was able to capture hundreds of water droplet images but there no where near that many keepers.
My aim was to not only get the water droplets but also the wave interference patterns, to show off the hidden geometry behind the different wave interactions.
And as you will see in my other posts from this project, i started using other mediums like milk, dye and paint to create a vast range of different forms and patterns.
