Can you solve this riddle for a STEEM prize?

in riddle •  7 years ago

A man lives in a square walled house with one window on each wall (walls 90 degrees to one another and 4 of them making a square shape). When he looks through one window he sees a southern view, however when he looks out through the other windows he also sees a southern view.

How is this possible?

There is a grand prize of 0.005 STEEM for the winner and three 0.001 STEEM runner up prizes.

The winner is the first correct answer. After 7 days the runners up will be randomly selected. I will use a random number generator and assign numbers to all correct answers and the three chosen will win (It's a small prize but mainly just for fun). After 7 days I post an answer/identify the correct answer and pay out the rewards.

Well done @jasonleighbarnes your the winner! Rewards have now been paid.

The most obvious solution that makes sense to me is that the house is exactly positioned on the north pole of the world.

That or the guy lives on a flat Earth surrounded by Antarctica

I agree, having his house built on the north pole would be the easiest solution to fulfill those requirements.

The only place you can build a house with all walls facing south, is directly on the North Pole.

Because he see in 2 windows

I think one of the windows is tinted

Maybe the House was built on north pole?
