Bible reading: For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness

The kingdom of God is a doctrine of mysteries, and it is the teacher who initiates the student, the disciple: "The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.", Luke 6:40. The teacher emulates God, the disciple imitates the divine.
In spirituality there are different degrees of spiritual perfection, as established by the holy spirit: imitation of God (the golden rule, Matthew 7:12), likeness to God (love of Charity or Agape), image of God (the fruits of the spirit, Galatians 5:22-23), the emulation of God (spiritual gift of counsel).
In his letter to the Hebrews, the apostle Paul mentions the importance of progressing spiritually through the word of God, to go from children to adults: "For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.", Hebrews 5:13-14.

Paul is clarifying with this that in baptism the holy spirit is not received, but the necessary gifts to begin to live according to the spirit: faith, hope and justification. According to the bible the gifts are progressive, uplifting, diffusive, the gifts are talents that must be used to bear fruit: "For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.", Hebrews 5:12.
The book Acts of the Apostles explains how we go from students to teachers: "When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria. When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.", Acts 8:14-17.
