Samara again terrorized the people with a tense surreal visualization. In the third installment of The Ring, Samara becomes a figure that seems no longer a horror threat for one or two people. Because the video has been multiplied several times, and makes Samara a terror in all directions.

In this third movie, Samara no longer haunts the Rachel and Aidan's family, but the terror of death haunts the lovers. Now with Holt and Julia, a couple of lovers who struggle together in search of a deadly video puzzle. Julia had seen with her own eyes, as her boyfriend was killed by a video ghost. While Holt did not have much time, he had to find someone else to watch the copy of the videotape he had made. Finally Julia sacrifices for his lover.

Rings is the third sequel to two films previously worked on in 2002 and 2005, but this time it seems to be executed more mature. Unfortunately it is not from the plot of the story presented, but the technical scenes are displayed. While the story's outline has not changed, the victim who has watched the video tape must copy the video and give it to someone else, or he will die in seven days.

The development of a new sequel story 'Rings', actually seen adopting some horror stories today, call it Conjuring or Ouija. The audience is puzzled, what does Samara mean so that he still wanders and kills the people who watch the videos. In fact, in the previous sequel, the body of Samara has been found and buried properly. But there is still a story that is not yet known by the audience, about Samara's past.

But the way the story itself, now more easily predictable. Samara seems to want revenge, and until now the goal has not been done. Then at the end of the movie, again raises the question of what will happen next, because the video turns on coffee many times almost hundreds of people. So what if the video will appear on the internet and how to stop it?

The most change the feel of horror in this movie, that is more characters are now emerging and have known about the ghost of Samara. Making Samara is no longer an 'urban legend' but a fact that even some people want to be sienceally explored. Samara no longer exclusively terrorized one or two people, but could be hundreds of people like a virus outbreak or something.

Should I watch two previous movies? Yes it seems you will only better understand if you have witnessed two previous films. Although the video is almost similar, the instructions given by this video are different from those seen in the previous two movies. So the way Julia and Holt answer the puzzle of the video is also slightly different.

Samara's own ghost figure is also actually no significant changes, emerged from the television screen and then kill people in front of him. Things that seem to be more value in the third film franchise of The Rings, more in the cinematic technical throughout the film.

The more dreadful Backsound and the dreary setting of the place, of course, always thrilling the heart of the audience while watching the movie. Old churches and cemeteries, as well as remote settlements, promise the fear of the audience. Not too many Jump Scare in this movie, which can either be called a deficiency or an excess. Some viewers like the surprises without preparation, but some also hate that.

Unfortunately the longer the sequel to this movie is made, even more diminished the impression horror perceived the audience. The audience will ultimately more guess the technical and strategic things to get away from the ghost of Samara. Samara is more like a deadly monster or virus, and the victim has to find a way to survive the video curse. Perhaps this is the reason why from his home country, Ringu first made in Japan in 1998 alone was never made for the next sequel.
