And yet one more large quake around the ring of fire in the past few days. The seismic events surrounding this element of our planet is undeniably showing signs of increased tectonic movement. If that is not a sign of shifting plates I don't know what is. Those of you who live on the edges of this plate (ie California and the West Coast of the USA and the Americas) would do well to prepare for much larger catastrophic events.
Better to be prepared and not have to activate your alternatives than to be complacently indifferent. The question of whether such events will or can happen is an UNDENIABLE scientific YES. The question is WHEN not IF and according to many historical trend and analysis, we are OVERDUE for a major seismic event. Be smart and safe not sorry. Have a plan and be prepared. YMMV
