Saw a lot of posts with concerns of Miguel Vias saying banks wont be using xrp and just overall, a lot of uncertainity about the use case of xrp.
From about 46:30, the speaker mentions that xrp is the closest asset, in his bias opinion, to have a commercial use case.
Currently, xrp has no use case. Banks dont need to use xrp. However, if they use it, they will save money (billions). Yes, it takes very little xrp to do a transaction, but keep in mind that there are billions of international transactions a year. If you do the math, it still wont end up exhausting the xrp supply. But, in theory banks will save money using it. Most people are banking on this fact.
Overall, in the future, Ripple, will try to make xrp have a use case, in the speakers own words. (46:30)
So for those concerned about the future of xrp, just a reminder investing in anything is a mature risk. You can't always win. Investments takes time, research and patience. Please do your own research from legitimate sources.
