Attorney James K. Filan, representing Ripple's co-founder and former CEO Chris Larsen and its current CEO Brad Garlinghouse, shared the letter that the SEC sent to the court today . In the letter, it was stated that the parties agreed to the court the proposed deadlines for the defendants to present their defense requests regarding the dismissal of the case.

Accordingly, the #Ripple CEO and co-founder at the defendant office will give their opening defense on April 12, in line with the denial of the case, this date for the SEC is May 14, 2021. Defendants will have until June 4, 2021, to respond to the SEC.

The dates submitted for court approval indicate that the Ripple litigation process can continue at least until June. However, there is always the possibility that the process can be completed out of court. #SEC commissioner Hester Pierce pointed out in an interview in January that the agency often resolves these cases out of court. On the other hand, it is known that Ripple is also looking for an agreement with the SEC. Finally, interestingly, Swiss cryptocurrency exchange #Lykke, which removed XRP from its platform in January due to the SEC case, recently reversed from this decision and listed XRP again.
