Not knowing much about Ripple, I thought it looked interesting being that it was listed in the top 10 on Coinmarketcap. However, once when I read up about it being like the "bankster cryptocurrency," I do kind of get a feeling like it isn't for me. We need a currency for the proletariat!

It does seem "wrong" to me, or at least not in the spirit of cryptocurrencies as decentralized and free... on the other hand, it seems almost inevitable that some large banks and organizations are going to take an "If you can't beat them, join them" approach... and Ripple probably won't be the first such pseudo-bank coin we see... what do you think?
