IS Ripple a permanent controlled sell out ? :-) What do u think?

in ripple •  7 years ago

I am really wondering if Ripple is way more manipulated than I thought. I always had this bad feelings concerning that close to 70% of the XRP belongs to the founder. Ripple often felt like a synthetic pump and then a controlled sell out. But now it has changed. It is holding the price while the volume is exploding.

Ripple is the number one again in trading volume on Poloniex

By the way Steem is Number 5 (thumbs up).

How can a Crypto have the strongest volume and the price isn't increasing ?
Can anybody explain me that?

Or is here something really sketchy going on?

What do you guys think?

Volume and price are not related the way you think they are. There can be large volume in the market and falling prices or large volume and rising prices. What determines the price is the number of buyer vs. the number of sellers at any given moment. In economics this is knows as supply and demand. High volume is great for liquidity purposes, making it easier to buy and sell without waiting long for a buyer to match with a seller.

Thank u, but I got this, for sure. Bur Ripple, is acting strange in my opinion. So many people sell and buy at the same time at a constant price ? why ?

Yes, many people can buy and sell at the same time and the price can remain constant. What would push the price up is if so many people want to buy but not so many want to sell and vice versa. I would steer clear of ripple because of the high max supply and substantially lower circulating supply. Hope that answers your question

Ripple is sleeping, give it some time and it'll wake up
