Kyle Rittenhouse's trial opens with his lawyer saying the N-word twice in court
Rittenhouse has been defamed as a blood thirsty racist for a year and now the headline reads that his defense lawyer said the N-word twice. This is clearly meant as a hatchet job against Rittenhouse. They know that people don't read much past the headlines. People are going to read the headline and say, "See, the racist murderer hired a racist to represent him."
The reality is that Rittenhouse's lawyer was quoting Joseph Rosenbaum, the first person who assaulted Rittenhouse. There's video evidence of Rosenbaum using that language before the altercation.
The correct headline would be something that put Rosenbaum front and center as the person who was using the racially charged language.
