My ten day time-off request got approved at work which means that next week I'm Canada bound! In discussing the trip with a coworker he informed me that he'd gone to Squamish, BC back in the early 90's (before I was even born haha) and sent me photos of his trip. So here's some photos of Squamish from nearly 30 years ago... I can't wait to compare them against the photos I'll take!

How we're preparing for climbing in Squamish
I've been so fixated on MTBing these past couple months that I've let my climbing strength slip away :/ Oh well haha. Realistically I'm not going to get any noticeably stronger for climbing in just a week, so I'm focusing all my attention on refining a fluid climbing technique and my ability to place trad gear quickly and safely. Here's some photos from our early morning session at our local crag.
Classic butt shot...
Teaching a friend how's never trad climbed before how to trad climb is an excellent way to review your own skills.
Just gotta finger jam, Alverado!!
Canada's so close you can almost see it
