More than 85 million Android devices worldwide have been occupied by Yingmob, a group of cyber criminals based on China, who created HummingBad malicious software, according to a Check Point report released last week.
The HummingBad installs a persistent rootkit on Android devices, it creates fake ad revenue, and installs additional mismatches.
If you fail to install the rootkit, then "bombard" the target device "poisoned" applications.
