The Timeless Beauty of a Rose! (Rosesopenweekend.)

'The Timeless Beauty of a Rose,' is my entry into the #rosesopenweekend contest organised by @adrianobalan Week 4.

To extract oils from roses is a costly process which undoubtedly raises the value of this precious and much loved flower. Did you know that it takes approximately 4 tons of roses which equates to 1,600,000 rose blossoms to produce just 1 kg of rose oil? When applied to our bodies, Rose Oil has the ability to hydrate and nourish the skin, reduce fine lines and wrinkles and create a radiant glow.

There are many reports suggesting that rose products elevate moods, ease the grieving process, assist with gynaecological problems, is a tonic for the uterus, regulates pms and menopause symptoms in women. Men also benefit as it improves impotence and fertility issues. Other reports claim that rose products act as a sedative, and have antiviral, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-carcinogenic properties.
