Day 31; Share why you take part in RPG-A-Day
In all honesty, I wouldn't have known this project existed if it wasn't for @grimjim who is also doing this and I happened to catch it across my feed a few days in. I decided to check it out and, lo and behold, I liked the idea behind it.
I'm newer to the tabletop scene and don't have much experience beyond D&D, but it's still a great chance to share things. I've had a lot happen just this past month alone and in the month or so before hand I've been both player and DM, and I hope to have many more stories in the future including next year when I honestly hope to be able to do this again.
I kept up with it because the prompts are thought-provoking and engaging, and I just generally enjoy sharing what I've learned and been through. It's nice to be able to do so in a way that is meant for other people who have been through similar situations to say "Ah yes, I've had something like that happen too" or "I feel a similar way" or even just disagree and have a nice conversation about why we think so differently about certain subjects.
It's been a heck of a ride, and I'm happy with it. Like I said before I honestly look forward to next year and doing RPGADay2019 too!
