The official notification for the RRB ALP recruitment was released and the application process was carried out. The exam is proposed to be conducted on the 9th August 2018. The candidates appearing for the recruitment examination should go through the article for a brief detail about the exam pattern of the RRB ALP. The vacancies are for the post of Loco Pilot as well as Technician. The examination will be conducted online, in two stages: Stage 1 (Prelims), Stage 2 (Mains). The exam will be a computer-based test in online mode. The second stage Mains examination will be will be divided into 2 parts: Part A and Part B. There are 17673 vacancies for the post of ALP from RRB. Also, 8829 vacancies for the post of the technician is announced. The candidates applying for the Loco pilot position must go through the details regarding the exam pattern for the better preparation of the examination of recruitment.
The proposed Exam Pattern for ALP recruitment exam is provided along with the negative mark scheme, sectional and total mark divisions. Candidates must prepare for the examination based on the provided pattern to score high marks and follow the exam pattern for better preparation.
The Railway recruitment for assistant loco pilot selection will be based on 4 stages as follows:

Document Verification
The first stage (Prelims) examination will be a screening test and will be segregating candidates based on the result. Candidates who do not qualify prelims cannot appear for the mains examination.
