RRB Recruitment 2018: 20% vacancies reserved for 'Course Completed Act Apprentices’ said by Railway Minister Piyush Goyal

RRB Recruitment 2018 News: Recently in February Railway minister Piyush Goyal declares that RRB is going to fill out more than 2 lack vacancies in 2018 in different categories like Assistant Locopilot, ASM and Group D posts.

The Indian Railways has rolled out two new notifications that is sure to cheer the government job seekers. The Railway Recruitment Board has invited applications for a whopping 90,000 jobs, and it has also extended the upper age limit. As per the government, the move will facilitate more people to be a part of building New Railways for a New India.

Recently a Big news is coming from New Delhi stated by Railway Minister piyush Goyal that: Twenty percent of all positions announced by the Railway Recruitment Control Board for various positions in the Indian Railways has been reserved for ‘Course Completed Act Apprentices’. The statement comes hours after several job aspirants staged a protest in Mumbai that crippled the city's train services leaving hundreds of commuters stranded. The protesters are demanding employment in Railways, claiming that they've already cleared the tests for the same.

In the official statement, 20% of seats are reserved under Apprentice Act. In addition, Railway Minister includes that: We have already reserved 20% posts for ‘Course Completed Act Apprentices’ who were engaged in Railway establishments under the Apprenticeship Act. This has been done as per Section 22(1) of the Apprentices Act and the various judgments pronounced by the Hon’ble Supreme Court from time to time. Applicants who completed the Apprenticeship course have also been given an age relaxation equal to the period of apprenticeship,” said the Railway Minister in an official statement.

Indian Railways is currently in the midst of a massive recruitment exercise. Indian Railways has come out with a policy to ensure a fair, transparent and competitive recruitment process that follows the law and the guidelines laid down by Hon’ble Supreme Court.” added the statement.

The candidates who are preparing for the ALP & Group D Examinations and waiting for their RRB Admit Card , there is one good news for them also. All the aspirants will be notified of the examination before 15 days by RRB Boards. They will get A Notification SMS on their registered mobile number for downloading the Admit Card online. without admit card candidates will be disqualified in examination.
