i have since first i heard about bitcoin and was for a while in dubio half on side with the "its a ponzi scheme" faction, never understood where this idea of anonimity comes from ,
see ... everything stays in the chain forever that means there's always an input node and there's always an output node , both of those can be physically traced at the very least , both might have been accessed through a shared ip or not, any store that's ever used an address will very likely keeps logs of those, any point in between that actually has a registered address already compromises anonimity (potentially or to a certain extent) ... to be completely anonymous id think you would need actual mined coins distributed to a wallet addres that's registered somewhere you can login without giving up ip or credentials ... losing a key btw means losing coin forever, its still in the chain but no one can get to it, statistically this means that the longer a blockchain exists the less coins will be available (as a probability ofcourse)
but the keywords #anarchy and #anonimity always go down well with those who don't really get them i suppose, this doesn't demean the significane or potential in any way. At the very least the lack of anonimity might help fight fraud and corruption at government and megacorp level (billions-level fraud ... voting fraud, .... name it) but then and then again
who am i to speak, right ?
mind you , any coin or ico CAN be a ponzi scheme ofcourse, but it doesn't mean it HAS to be one
also mind you -> everything it has been accused of is derived from abuse in the "old" world ... the word "bitcoin-scheme" does not actually exist while ponzi does ... al capone got rich on DOLLAR because they prohibited, they didnt prohibit to prevent the abuse of dollar, after killing escobar, the cali cartel used bitcoin to increase the flow of cocaine to the states, rick ross cryptocracked cocaine to rocks and let's not forget, there were no pedophiles , satoshi nakamoto invented them, just like 911 wouldnt have happened if it wasnt for those damned cypherpunks and their new world disorder ... all THAT, thats just old people in suits being scared, losing grasp while they hold on to the past so bad they choke the world so hard its killing the future (o yea, i love saying that, and i can, i'm just a crank-ass useless piece of nothing , heh)
