Solomon, the wise ruler: The people of Israel gave him royal honor like no king of Israel before him ever had. 1 Chronicles 29:25

The Bible relates that God in his mercy made Solomon a doctor of the highest and most perfect science of all, the science of wisdom, the science of God to guide the nation of Israel along the path of righteousness and the vision of truth. This is why Solomon was essentially one of the most mysterious men in the sacred scriptures, the story of his actions and teachings sinks into the sands of time. Solomon then was not a prophet like Isaiah or Jeremiah, nor a priest like Phinehas, but a doctor and ruler, and this for one great reason, the need for the excellence of wisdom to govern with common sense, vision, and benevolence.
And the First Book of Chronicles makes a brief reference to the government of this wise king, when it describes how Solomon was crowned ruler of the entire kingdom of Israel, and so this book dedicated these words to Solomon: "The LORD made Solomon extremely powerful, as all Israel could see. The people of Israel gave him royal honor like no king of Israel before him ever had" 1 Chronicles 29:25.
The Reign of Solomon in a practical way teaches that government in its most perfect form is monarchy, but this form of government should not be confused with tyranny, the opposite of monarchy, the tyrant oppresses and seeks only his own good at the expense of others, in change the monarch governs with a view to the most perfect good which is God and the blessing of peace.
Solomon's main task was the construction of the first temple in Jerusalem, where the ark of the covenant was taken after its completion, with the purpose of realize the glory of the God of Abraham and Moses among the Israelites, and for this, Solomon received immortality and eternal memory. There was no greater era of glory, territorial extension, and splendor for the entire kingdom of Israel. But Solomon's work does not end with this facts, he also wrote numerous books through which he instructed Israel in the knowledge of God, and gave valuable advice for practical life, and some of his books are Proverbs and Wisdom. The reign of Solomon leaves for modern and current times the keys to understand why countries and people fail or succeed.
