A 2,500-year-old tomb filled with daggers, knives, axes and four skeletons, including a "warrior woman", was found in Siberia, Russia. This discovery also surprised the experts.

Archaeologists found remains of the Iron Age and have concluded that they belonged to the Ancient hashtag culture or a group of nomadic warriors who lived in Siberia.

Two soldiers, a man and a woman, and a baby, were part of the four skeletons found in the tomb.

"Men and women who lay beside those aged approximately 35 and 45 years of age, and women who are standing by their age is approximately 60 years or more," says anthropologist Olga Batanina Russian Academy of Sciences Branch of Siberia in a statement, as quoted by Fox News , Friday (2/10/2020).

"The remains of a newborn, no more than 1 month old, were also found at the cemetery, but the skeletons were scattered all over the tomb, possibly a result of rodent activity," he continued.

It's unclear what the relationship between the people was, but the researchers hope to use DNA analysis to show if they are related.

Archaeologists are not sure how they died, but there is speculation that an illness might have caused them.
