You have to be crazy to fix up a '95 Fleetwood RV,right?

This is an ongoing project for my husband and me. Right now we're working on the cabinets which had suffered some water damage to the frames. The beginning of the story is here. The beginning of the cabinets is here

I moved the painting of the doors into the kitchen. It's too close quartered in Windy and I can't tolerate the paint in there for long.

All the hardware had to be removed. I finally wised up and switched to an electric screwdriver.

Everything has to be washed with TSP mixture to prepare the wood for prep coats of paint.

Here is a mixture of steps. The Kitchen isn't that big and I am doing things in small batches.

These three doors have a first coat of blocker. They will get another 5 or 6 coats total before they will be ready for hardware.

This is a finished door, ready to be re-installed. We've been painting the cabinets at the same time. So some of them are ready for doors.

I'm so ready to be done with this part and start on the floors. We're taking it to a Paranormal Festival in March. I'm going to be one of the speakers. They don't care that I'm crazy!

I'll get some pictures when the cabinets are put back together.

One day this week I may write about the day I snapped. Crazy isn't all fun and games, you know.

Looks like an awesome project! Can't wait to see it finished

You and ME both! Painting these cabinets is a bigger project than we expected and we have decided to just clean and replace hardware in the kitchen and bedroom, at least for now. The didn't have any water damage and we're going to see how it feels. We're hoping it will just set the kitchen apart from the rest of the space and maybe make it feel roomier.

They don't care that I'm crazy!

Many more of us don't either. This sounds like the sort of project I could sink my teeth into.

We do enjoy it. And Windy is in good shape. Just needing some TLC. We have plenty of that!

Oh good job! They look great.

We have the inside of the RV so torn up. It feels awful right now. Can't wait to get it all put back together.

Great story! I wrote for a site called DIYRV.com for about two years. They buy stories from RVers. You might contact them and see if they'd like to get you writing for them when you travel.

Wow! I will contact them. Thank you for the lead.

Lot's of awesome tips on there too! I know, I wrote a few hundred articles.

I just spent a couple of hours perusing the sight. Ran across a couple of your asrticles and one or two with no by line that sounded like you. lol Thanks for the tip.

I think everything on there that was me has a byline. I was the main staff writer for a while, about 10 articles a week.
