This is some awesome applied technology. Large-scale distribution of medical supplies on demand, in Rwanda, by 150-mile range drones.
And a drone design that seems to get around all the problems of amazon-type drones landing. A 50 pound, ultra quiet drone that hovers at 400 feet, and a zipline to lower a robotic pod (also self steerable) to deposit the package. Same operation to pick up a package at a merchant or restaurant.
Makes so much more sense than paying a person to drive a 4000 pound vehicle to deliver a one pound payload to you...and less packaging, because things aren't being stacked in trucks.
