Local bass player, Chad Maurer, took 5 of his buddies, all guitar and bass players to vist guitar and bass builder Roger Sadowsky at his small factory in New York. A great time was had by us all and Roger was really a great guy. I've know of him for many years but never before met him. Not only did he show us many instruments, both done and ready to go to new homes, but also instruments in the "build" process. And he has a great stash of rare and exotic woods. If you want a great instrument, you need to check his out. Ask notorious bassist Will Lee ..he's been playing one of Roger's basses for many years.
