iFixit removes its teardown at Samsung's request

Galaxy Fold, Samsung's new smartphone folding, won't keep track of the South Korean company's original launch date. We want to analyze the problems in fragility which the reviewers who have had the opportunity to test some test units have identified during the recent days before debuting on the market. Although this first version won't appear on the market, iFixit had nevertheless created a canonical disassembly and internal component verification article that Samsung asked to delete. While iFixit usually requires the unit manufacturer to work in teardown, the Galaxy Fold was obtained from a third party supplier in this case. Samsung turned to the latter in order to induce the article to be deleted. IFixit reporters say that they tried to persuade Samsung and the provider to waive removal, but without fruit. The teardown was ultimately removed in order to maintain good relations with Samsung. iFixit called Galaxy Fold a worrisome way, but also praised the innovative attempt. Samsung has taken the time to improve its folding smartphone, but it is not clear which sectors it is specially working on. "Each new product has to face challenges, perhaps more than others." It is legitimate, from some point of view, that I would not like this to reveal the internal product's secrets before the final version is placed on the market. Other downs outside iØit can be traced simultaneously.
