SAT - Grammar and Diction

Some students take grammar lessons (with diction included) in a semester-long course in ninth grade Others are exposed to these constructions in third grade or later, indirectly, through the study of Latin.

The SAT section in which you make decisions about grammar and diction (word choice) is called the "Writing and Language Test." Because most of the time we process language through our ears instead of through silent reading, try a multi-modal approach:

After silently reading phrases and sentences whose irregularities puzzle you, read aloud these bits. You may be able to answer more "Writing and Language" questions.
