We ordered one and built it in about 3 hours. Helps us get through the long Canadian Winters....

Wow I really like this offgridlife. I have been wanting to build one for years. I had no idea cosco sold these. If I show the wife she is going to want one! How much are they? Are they wood heated?
Definitely resteemed🤗

We bought a 4 person barrel sauna for $3,000 and set it up in the basement so we could also use it to help heat the house in winter... it is electric.

You can run it from Solar (batteries)

Really looks good! Years ago I was sick on vacation, and we got to use the sauna and I believe that I sweat it out. Ever since I have told the wife I am going to build one!

Great photo of total awesomeness !!!

This is the Costco photo... ours looks almost as good.

Still awesome.
I see what looks like a spa near it.
Thats also very nice..(:

Oh yeah... those are very expensive to keep hot in Canadian winters

Posted using Partiko iOS

Yes that would be VERY Expensive..

Sauna is better since you can turn on for 15 minutes to use and turn off when done... hot tub needs to run constantly

The electric sauna is great for those with electricity for sure. And heating up in 15 minutes..that's not bad at all...!!!!
Keeping a hot tub open in Winter would be impossible here.
For those with electricity...
must be expensive with the tub.

I would prefer wood burning

The best..
(:
But sounds like the electric works for you. I love the design.

Speaking of wood...
I started my woodstove this a.m.
was very cool yesterday and last night. So I had to fire up for a little while. I let it go out. I need to save my firewood for the real deal..

Some years ago I visited Canada, in particular I was at the Niagara Falls: Great Wolf Lodge was the hotel and it had a pool inside and a pool outside. It is funny the gap beetween a hot temperature and a cold one. I like your pic!!!

It's very nice and interest^^

That is the most charming sauna I have ever seen. I grew up in Vancouver and I was lucky not to have experienced those long and brutal Canadian winters.
