STEEMCHURCH:- SIGNS, WONDERS, MIRACLES

The miracles of Jesus were wrought by the wisdom of God in action (MK. 6:2). In the miracle feeding of 500 people for instance, they were in the wilderness and He said,

give ye them to eat. And this He said to prove Him: for He Himself knew He would do. (John 6:6)

He knew what to do to feed 5,000 men minus women and children with little boy's lunch. He did what looked so ordinary but of that ordinary action come extra-ordinary results. He took the bread and lifted up His eyes and gave thanks and then there was supernatural multiplication in the order of psalm 67:5 & 6.

MATERIAL ABUNDANCE
Divine wisdom manifests itself in material abundance. The only wise God said,

For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. If I were hungry, I would not tell thee: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof (Psalm 50: 10-12).

The wiser you are, the wealthier you become. The book of Proverb repeatedly stressed that divine wisdom is the most valuable asset in the journey of life.

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and gain thereof than fine gold. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and her left hand riches and honor. (Proverb 3:13-16)

Riches and honour are in her left hand! wisdom personified says

I love them that love Me; and those that seek me early shall find me. Riches and honour are with Me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. (Proverb 8:17-18).

Durable wealth, nit the one that is here today, gone tomorrow, is at the command of divine wisdom.

LONG LIFE
Longetivity answers to divine wisdom

Length of days is in her right hand i her left hand is riches and honour. (Proverb 3:16)
Hear, O my son, receive my saying; and the years of thy life shall be many (Proverb 4:10).

Divine wisdom places a check on the activities of destruction and death. (Job 28:22)

Haven't you heard that a wise man is strong, and a man of knowledge increases strength? (Prov. 24:5). Three scores and ten are your years but by reason of strength, it can be multiplied to any number. Divine wisdom makes you strong and it is your strength that determines how long God deems fit to keep you here.

PEACE
Divine wisdom deflates pressures and establishes divine peace.

All her ways are ways of pleasantness and all her path are peace. (Proverb 3:17).

And when you live in divine peace, you naturally provoke divine interventions. The Lord will fight for you as you hold your peace (Ex 14:14).

Be still and you will know that I am God. (Psalm 46:10).

To the little tribe of Judah confronted by large army, He said

Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves , stand ye still, and the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you. ( 2 Chronicles 20:17).

Set yourself! They positioned themselves and God showed up.

IT IS AN ENDOWMENT
From the seven ways that divine wisdom manifests itself, you can see that wisdom is more than just being able to think, it is a special gift from God. You need to appreciate that divine wisdom is an endowment not an achievement. Pharaoh said to Joseph,

In as much as God has shown you (Gen. 41: 38)
It was God that showed Joseph. The report of four Hebrew boys in Babylon was,
...As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. (Daniel 1:17)
God gave them!
Peter, referring to Paul one day said
....even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him.... (2 Peter 3:15)

Paul was given. He was not drawing from his intellectual resource, he was tapping into a divine endowment. Intellectualism is not the same as divine wisdom. Paul was a legal luminary, a giant in his career but the Bible says the wisdom at work in Paul was the one given to him by God.
