Greetings to all the friends and brothers in Christ.

If you look closely at Genesis 1: 1-2, you will see that the Bible refers to "God" and the "Spirit of God" without making the slightest distinction between the two. Use both terms interchangeably. Have you ever wondered why?

Because the two are one! This is the first allusion to the doctrine of the Trinity in the Scriptures.

A little further on, in the creation account, we find a second reference to the Trinity: "Then God said: Let us make man in our image, after our likeness" (Gen 1:26). Now, with whom did God speak? To whomever he refers, he (or they) had (had) a key role in the creation process: "Let us (plural) man".

And who was this mysterious us? The only other beings who lived then were angels and animals, and the Bible gives no indication that they had any role in the creation process.

Fortunately, right in the next verse, God clarifies who he referred to: "And God created man in his image, in the image of God he created him, man and woman he created them (Gen 1:27) God did not create Adam and Eve , in the image of angels or animals, he created them according to his own image, therefore, the plural theme of Genesis 1:26 should refer exclusively to God, that is, to God the Father, to God the Son and to God the Holy Spirit, one God, but he expresses himself through the three persons of the Trinity.

In the eternal unity of the Trinity, the members of the deity have always enjoyed a deep, rich and unwavering relationship of love between them. When God created us, he wanted to share that communion to a certain extent; That's why we were created in his image. By creating us to reflect his nature, he allowed us to develop a deep and intimate relationship with him.

By this truth we come to the essence of what the Lord wanted to create us: our intimacy with God, which is his priority for us, determines the impact that our lives cause. Therefore, the closer we get to Him, the more positive and lasting the impact we can have in this world.
