See that I command you to strive and be brave; Do not be afraid or faint, because your God will be with you wherever you go. Josue 1: 9
Brave: is one who does everything necessary to stand firm, becomes strong to overcome sin or weakness. He who fights against everything in order to walk and please God.
In this verse one preferred by many of the brethren, since it is a great promise of God, and we recite it to declare this for our lives, just as God told Joshua to work hard and be brave so God does not demand them to us so that our life is led along the right path, many times in this journey through the difficult moments we spend we want to give up and leave everything, but this verse God asks us to persevere and gives us that promise that he will be wherever he wants. Let us go, he also asks us in Joshua 1: 8 that we never set aside this book of the law if we do not meditate on it day and night.
This beautiful chapter shows us that, if we strive that if we go ahead, we will be well, then it is there when we realize what God means to be brave, what we measure in him and he will give us that courage
God only wants us to strive, be very brave, meditate on his word day and night, but with a beautiful purpose for us our path will prosper, and everything we do will go well.
The Lord demands this also because He will help us overcome all temptations and all we can go through, He wants us to be courageous in saying no to sin and striving to live a life worthy of our Lord.
Remember that only the brave will take the Kingdom of heaven.
The courage is not given by the Lord through the work of the Holy Spirit, He is the one who empowers us for battle.
