Purpose and balance of life of a Christian

in sc-v •  6 years ago  (edited)

The Bible reveals to us that God's purpose for man encompasses many things. For example, we know that God loves us selflessly, as evidenced by the wonderful design of the human body (Psalm 40: 5, 139: 14). Therefore, if we want to live according to the divine purpose, we have to imitate God and love others selflessly (1 John 4: 7-11). Another thing we also have to do is obey his commandments (Ecclesiastes 12:13, 1 John 5: 3).

Usually when we talk about achieving a balanced life it is said that we should worry about our body, mind and soul, but that is not all there is, and here we give you another point of view about it.

We do little to know them, and less to learn to manage them.

For this I want to convey to you what for me are the four parts of our being that we must keep in balance to feel fuller:

Body: Our physique is the vehicle from which we live. If we do not maintain balance in our body or know how to move it properly, there are probably situations in which it is difficult for us to unwind because the "body does not give us".

Mind: The machine that thinks it knows everything and that costs us to shut up. When we learn to make the mind work for us and not the other way around, a whole world of creativity opens up.

Emotions: They are the thermometer of what we live, the ones in charge of letting us know if we like it or not, where we are or what we do. The impulse that drives us to act, recognize them and transform that fire into a precise laser can be a great advantage.

Spirit: Our true being, the connection with what we really are before we are born, and the essence of life. Being able to recognize ourselves as spiritual beings that we must act in the physical is what makes us human.

Balance of the life of a Christian

What is the purpose of living a Christian lifestyle? Choosing to make Jesus Christ Lord of our lives dramatically changes our lifestyle. Friendships, activities, and even health issues receive careful evaluation. Although we formulate reasons that explain the way we live our Christian lives, God's purpose for our lives never changes....

-Becoming connected to God through Jesus Christ (John 15: 4-8). A life separated from God withers and dies - physically and spiritually. God wants to reproduce the life of His Son through our fruits.

-Becoming faithful through persecution and resisting false doctrines (Second Timothy 3: 12-17). The apostle Paul knew that situations would worsen and that worldly pressures would increase. Our testimony and knowledge of the Scriptures equip us to face any deceitful or deceptive ideals.

-To preach the Good News to a lost world (Mark 16: 15-16, First Timothy 6:12). Like any athlete or soldier, we offer our best efforts to promote faith. Our transformed lives force us to share the impact of the Gospel, not only for "today," but for eternity.

Christian Lifestyle, Inside and Outside

What is the external and internal evidence of a Christian lifestyle? You can show an outward appearance of holiness daily and at the same time not give a good Christian testimony (Matthew 23: 27-28). To live as a Christian requires the character of Christ. A transformation must occur, as a result of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us (Galatians 5: 24-25).

When we truly practice a Christian lifestyle, the inner evidence becomes obvious. The glory and power of God spill over those around us. Our faith in the midst of tribulations flows from a heart given to a loving Father. Each breath brings words of compassion and support to a wounded world. Those who live the Christian way of life, live a safe life internally and externally.

Just as love can not be hidden, neither can the person who has Christ do it, wherever he goes he will be a manifestation of the glory and power of God!

The title of this publication draws attention and the content supports it. Certainly we must keep these four elements in total equilibrium. Good post Maria lara

'We are the salt of the world'.....great post

Good post, and definitely something for all Christians to bear in mind. It can be hard, but being in tune with Jesus and relying on His guidance makes a world of difference. I'd be lying if I said I don't struggle with some stuff, but whenever the fight gets tough, I take refuge in the Lord.
