thanks for this..a few months back , I made a small token investment in a Dubai company called Crypto Wealth Fund, which sounds exactly the same as bitconnect except the daily rates were higher. Oh the promises I heard and how convinced everyone was about the validity of the company. Ended with a supposed technical 'accident' and nobody could ever take any more money out. People running the operation disappeared so after.. Caveat Emptor with this stuff.
