Among the numerous picturesque landscapes of Western Sichuan,
Genie is a place I am drawn to again and again.
Wild hot springs, primeval forests, snow-capped mountains, alpine meadows, pine forests adorned with wildflowers...
This summer, one must experience camping here!

These attractions are quintessential:
Xiazetong Village
Xiazetong Village, now merged with Ranrika Village, is part of the southern route of Genie and the birthplace of Ding Zhen! In close proximity are natural hot springs, set before a small wooden cottage, with Mount Genie and other snowy peaks as a backdrop. The feeling of experiencing such natural bounty is unparalleled!
The Eye of Genie
Located on the reverse side of Mount Genie, it is a mountain lake with views of Mount Genie at every turn. Encounters with monkeys and marmots are common. It is essential to choose a day with good weather and bring a drone to fully capture the grandeur of this sacred and tranquil scene. Do not miss the sunset, the memory of which remains etched in my mind!
Cuopu Valley
A place that encompasses all the characteristics of Western Sichuan! The waters are comparable to those of Jiuzhaigou, with crystal-clear, jelly-like lakes, naturally filtered by the light. Here, one can behold snow-capped mountains, lakes, meadows, forests, temples, and holy peaks. The beauty of this place moved me to tears!
