I'm currently in high school and half the stuff they are teaching is going in one ear and out of the other, it's not needed at all. You know, this week in chemistry I learnt about reversible reactions, I'm not too sure why I'd need to know how to reverse a reaction in a field of work completely unrelated to chemistry. Then there are tests and exams, I get a test for most subjects every few months and let me tell you, the bullshit, please excuse my French, answers that are on test paper mark schemes is insane! Apparently, you now have to put 4 points for 2 or 3 mark questions which makes no sense at all and when would I ever need to analyse Shakespeare at a job interview, oh wait I'll be self-employed so it wouldn't matter anyway. Homework is another pointless thing, purely just wasting my free time where I could be pursuing my passions and hobbies. This whole school system rubbish just does my head in, I could be spending my life doing what I want to do, but no.
